Steering wobble when braking above 60 mph.

by PetrolHead » Mon Jun 23, 2008 5:53 pm

Hi, my much loved 1995 Calibra ecotec 2.0 16v, has always had a severe steering wobble when braking above 60 mph. there is no sign of any wooble whatsoever when braking at speeds below 60. There is never any wobble when driving even at top speed, but brake at 110mph and its well scary. I have replaced both front ventilated discs and new balanced tyres all round, and it still wobbles. Please help coz im at my wits end.

BETTER TO HAVE A CALIBRA AND NOT NEED ONE, THAN NEED A CALIBRA AND NOT HAVE ONE!!!

try getting it tracked first, if that doesn't solve it could be the lower suspension arm bushes
