It was £45, and the pads were £13 - Not bad i reckon!<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Not bad but I've replaced mine twice now with the amount of mileage I do and I only pay £28 inc vat for cv joints

Finally got this done....

I started myself, with some help from my dad. Things were going well, untill we realised we dont own any circlip pliers, and my dad began to get stressed and was probably going to break something.....

I ended up sacking it off due to lack of tools and mechanical ability, and I rang a mobile repair guy up. He was here in 10 mins and turned out to be a family friend from years ago!

In the end it cost £20 to have the CV joint finished off, and pads on both sides changed.

The knocking has gone completely now, so im a very happy bunny.
