ABS WARNING LIGHT

by david0457 » Mon Jul 28, 2008 8:53 am

Its worth doing the paperclip test before looking for problems with the sensors etc. I did this and got a code 37 - stop lamp switch fault. Checked the bulbs first and bingo, both had gone! Fortunately, the led stop light on the spoiler was still working which meant I didn't get shunted up the rear for the past few days. It seems that if both stop lamps have failed the ABS warning light comes on. Can't find that info in the owners manual or come across it anywhere else. Worth checking the bulbs first before anything else.

Hope the above helps anyone else with this problems.
