^^^
thats about the same ride height i've got on mine with 40mm springs and standard shocks, as baz says it looks like a 60mm drop on the front not 40mm
BETTER TO HAVE A CALIBRA AND NOT NEED ONE, THAN NEED A CALIBRA AND NOT HAVE ONE!!!

Two things I'd suggest - 1, give it a few days to settle down. 2, See if you can see a part number or something written on the actual springs themselves anywhere. Give Spax a shout and confirm it with them.

my new kit arrived this morn and first thing i did was to check the part number and springs for the level i requested to lower the car as i said it will be printed on the springs what the level the spring is lowered by..

I've got my Calibra(16V Ecotec) lowered a couple of months ago on Eibach springs(35-40mm) & Bilstein shocks and it looked same as yours. After a while it setttled - the front stayed the same, back dropped a little bit. I'll post a picture later on. Also you can turn the rear springs around the base, to see if it makes any difference.

Consult the manual time:

All are the same height, turbo has higher ground clearance.

the older calibras up to 93 did sit higher than the later ones i have checked my older manual and this is what it say
calibra calibra4x4 calibraturbo 4x4
126/5.0 131/5.2 120/4.7 road clearance
exhaust exhaust floorpan position on vehicle
so there is a height differance between the younger and older calibras so the redtop sits higher than the ecotec and the older turbos were lower than the8v and the 16v's

Thanks for the comments guys i think i am going to try some spacers in the front and have another look. I love the way it sits just scared of damaging the wing with the tyre rub

My cally has new standard shocks and old standard springs, rather than changing all, which set of lowering springs would work best with standard shocks & improve handling but without knocking my fillings out? also is it worth while polybushing the car front and back?
