Rear camber problem

by Rob Himself » Wed Sep 24, 2008 5:25 pm

Had a puncture on a rear nearside wheel. Went to get it changed, and noticed that the inside edge was very badly worn... peered over to the offside and same thing there.

Is the rear on a Cally adjustable, though? What could be causing such dire tyre wear, and how to remedy it?

Cheers,
R

Oh.... it's possible then. Had it since June-time... I'll give it a month so, and watch how they wear... THEN start getting worried!!!

You can get adjustable camber kits for these as i did on my old Cav GSI. Bigger wheels and a lowering kit plays havoc with these cars :(

Rob, theres, two very large bushes on the front mounting bracket for the rear assembly, take a look at these and see is there perished or worn, if so replace they can be got from auto vaux for 17.50 each...
