Got a mate who will lower the car for me now but has to do it in dinner hour at work (he`s a mechanic) so to save time, I am going to do the rears at home, is it as easy as it looks, ie remove lower shock bolt, lower arm down, remove spring then jack rear arm back up to put shock bolt back in? Comments appreciated, Mark.

Right, rears done but doesnt look any different, stiffer yes but not lower, will the springs settle over time?

All done now, top balljoints were a pain (did fronts myself too) but not too much trouble other than that! Waiting for it to settle down now!

I was dissapointed in my back end, was hoping it be slammed as they were supposibly 60mm all round but front is only 60, back is i think 40.

mine is starting to squat slightly but evenly, must admit I thought it would look lower instantly! Does handle a lot better all ready now. Pics to follow.....

How come any job on a Calibra leads to another? Driving to work Friday morning and knocking noise from front, looks like I killed a Trackrod balljoint when I popped them to remove the struts. To be on the safe side I have renewed both Trackrod ends and am going for tracking Monday morning now, quite an easy job and only £15 for a pair of ends!! Alls well that ends well eh?
