REAR WISH BONES

Any issues relating to suspension, steering and brakes.

Hello, how can you tell if your rear bones bushes are past it?
How would you feel it whilst driving? What should I be looking for?

I had this with my Turbo. It tended to wander in corners or try to go straight on rather than turn. Had Polybushes fitted and the handling is great.

Hello lomathst, Thankyou but I am not sure what you mean?
I am picturing a car that understeers with you discription,
Would unstability in corners not be more the front bones rather than the rear or even the roll bar-wishbone link bush?
I am in the process of replacing my front bones&link bush,
What sort of price did you pay for your poly's to be fitted? or did you do it yourself? Was it easy? :?: :?:

I got an estimate of about £230 for the fronts and rears to be fittted. They are a pain to fit and it took 17 hours!! (and that's a garage!!). With regards to instability, you would probably notice the back tending to not follow the same line as the front on corners (ie slight oversteer). Understeer would be the front bushes - sorry for the confusion. I hope that helps. I would definatly get polybushes, althought the ride is a bit harsher.

Was that price just for the labour?

Yep, afraid so. I can't remember how much the parts were.
