V6 brake accessory kit?

by sinbrad » Thu Mar 19, 2009 4:05 pm

Ok guys, currently replacing my rear brakes, both pads and shoes. Anyway the shoes came with a brake accessory kit but the pins that came with the kit are
approx 10mm longer than the ones that came off of the car. They are mintex and got them from autovaux. Had a look on mintex and they are the correct pins etc
for my particular version. I'm just wondering if there's a length difference between the 2.0i 16v and the turbo/V6. If there was then there's a possibility that the ones
that have been removed are 16 valvers and the wrong parts for the V6. Any ideas?

cheers

That's what I don't get as the pins on at the moment are shorter than the one's I got from
Autovaux.

Didn't know halfrauds done them?
