is there a leading edge on the pads?? I doubt theres not, but if there isnt file a very small one on.

Pads were bought straight from VX so hopefully they would be capable of doing the job?

i mean does the front edge of the pad, ie the one the disk hits first as it spins around have a small angle on it, or is the pad flat all around.. if you file a very small angle on the front of pad it helps stop squeel, most come like that anyway.


this is hugely excessive, im only talking about the lightest angle but often only one side is done unlike both here, if you fit the brake pads to the wrong side the leading edge is incorrect and it wont squeel if you brake in reverse lol.

Ok, I see now. Will have to investigate as I didn't fit the current pads?

Been running the car for a few weeks now and the squealing seems to be subsiding. I hope it will soon go altogether and the prob was only the fact that the pads etc were new and needed running in? Will see how it goes?
