Jacking/axle stand points - Haynes picture doesn't match car

leave old front pad in, hold calliper (or put bolts back on) insert large type lever between piston and disc, apply pressure to piston

oh an remove brake reservoir cap

thats what I do

I usually jack up on the subframe and insert axel stands where you have located them or the other way round. Usually take out the pads and push the piston in with a bar but take off reservior cap first

Use a large flat bladed screw driver on the edge of the cylinder and take the resevoir cap off as well
