Shock abosrbers replaced (ouch?)

The V6 now rides a lot smoother as the passenger side front sus goes up and down ...as have had new (Bilstein) shocks ..one and a half hours per side seems pretty reasonable labour time to me but I would be interested to hear what other folk have been charged or took doing it.
