front drive flange size needed

by bigworm » Tue Nov 24, 2009 12:11 pm

hi all
need to replace my bearing on my 94 v6 but was thinking on just replacing the whole front arm
reason being my car is running 288mm discs fron a vectra now the side i need to replace had its drive flange ground down to get the disc on
but the other side didnt
i know the otherside had a complete arm replaced with a later model not sure if cally/cav

what i want to find is what size flanges are on what age cars

i know i should just go take it all off and measure them but was wondering if there was info already on it

Early V6's had 284mm discs, later had 288mm. so i would have thought a later arm from a Calibra would be ok.

Cavalier was discontinued in 1995 so i imagined they used the smaller size 284mm discs.
