Caliper re-build kits?

by sxibeast » Fri Jan 22, 2010 7:19 pm

Hi guys,

Ive got a pair of Calibra Turbo front calipers but they look very worse for wear!

I am thinking about doing a strip down and rebuild for when i put them on the car, but can anyone recommend a good re-build kit and/or offer any advice if they have done this before?

Cheers guys!

never done this tbh but I'd guess you can get the seal kit from Vauxhall or Autovaux, can't say how much they are though

Good luck... years since I attempted it on minis and never succeeded..barrels seem to get scored and need treatement..lot less hassle to get an exchange unit.

Like Phantom said I also have no idea what a kit may cost, But for reference i bought two recon ones from VX last year and they where £40ish each exchange.
