squeakin brakes

when i was driving home from work today i noticed the brake instrument light came on for a second, after which when pressing the pedal slightly i get a squeaking sound coming from offside front wheel. when braking hard it doesnt happen. to my knowledge the discs and pads where changed for new about 4000 miles ago. any thoughts...................

Hi, mine were squeaking a few weeks ago, took them out smeared a bit of copper ease on the back of the pads and no more squeaking [img]/smile.gif[/img]
