Rear coil springs!!!

just wondering the mot tester failed cally on rear springs,as he says they have callapsed but the calibra isnt sitting lower at the back shes sitting level handles well no knocks or bangs is it really a failure the springs are compressed but car isnt sittn lower at the back!!!!

have they snapped?do they look corroded...or are they just progressive?

there no corroded or broken they dont look that old still got black paint on them,he said cos there compressed with no gaps so i dont know

prob cavy springs need to look in scrappys for other ones

when i had the spax springs on when it was a c20xe the rear springs looked as though they were coil bound ,the mot'er said that they were knackered even though the springs were a month old i think it is down to the technitions knowledge , as a lot of lowered springs are progresive rate and they dont realise that some do look as though they are coil bound, so they either fail or give an advisory when there is nothing wrong

think it depends where you go think there lowered springs mite help if i take my heavy tool box out the boot!!! lol
