Something doesn't sound right

by Calibra_Mike » Sat Sep 03, 2011 5:51 pm

I seem to be getting a squeeking noise when im driving along now coming from the front, if I bounce the front end while stopped it also squeeks, my thoughts are with the bushes in the lower suspension arms but I changed them last year and have only covered about 3K miles since then, anyone else found this? I do have apex lowering springs which make for a harsher ride could this kill the bushes quicker? Im thinking of a complete front end overhaul as the shocks are pretty old and thy do need changing, so Ill do the lot while im at it, how hard is it to fit the poly bushes in the arms? might go down that route for longer lasting...

Anyone able to recommend somewhere I can get the poly bushes from for the lower suspension arms? Ive had a look about and found some that are £33 a pair sound about right?

Also how hard is it to get the old bushes out and the poly ones fitted?
