Connections in wheel arch are ok, the teeth are somewhat rusty but not missing and now the abs light only comes on when doing a left turn on full lock. Apart from replacing the CV joint i'm a bit stuck. Oh and tracking is out hence replacing track rods as they are siezed and caused a bald patch on an otherwise perfect tyre :( . Any more suggestions

if it only brining the light on with full lock, sounds like the connection is coming loose only on full lock

have you checked how tight the wires get on full lock? try disconnecting the wires then then a wee squirt with WD40 and re join

Comes on and stays on, will recheck the connections and give the teeth another clean up

Amazing what a bit of vaseline does on your connectors

Hi, i am having a similar problem with the light staying on. I did the paper clip test with no codes. Tried a snap on scan tool, but it couldnt read or communicate with the ABS module. We tested the car on the hoist spinning each wheel and hitting the brakes and all the sensors appear to be working and the module could be heard doing its thing. On the road in the wet the LHF only locks up. Could it be a faulty ring that is causing the problem?

thanks

Ben

Check the connector, i cleaned mine out with a squirt of wd40 and a cotton bud, then put a smidging of vaseline on the conectors and it was then working fine. I also gave the ring a a bit of a clean up as well
