Rear sub frame mount thingy Removal...Help Needed.
Re: Rear sub frame mount thingy Removal...Help Needed.
That would be the best idea but I'm scared I would not get it to go back up......and with struggling to refit one bolt god know how I would get on with the whole frame....I would have to push the car out the garage turn it around and push it back in again to vet more room to full the frame out from underneath.

I had the same problem mate in my garage, to get around the lack of room I put the rear of the car up on axle stands and lowered the frame down with a trolley jack and then unbolted both rear arms from the frame while the frame was on the ground underneath the car which meant I could bring it out in 3 pieces, stripped and painted everything then reassembled it underneath the car and raised it back into place with a trolley jack again.

Re: Rear sub frame mount thingy Removal...Bush Replacement W
Right been down the callycave for a couple of hours....used my trolly jack to press out the remainder of the old bush
came out in three parts....well fell apart more like.
Dont ya just love WD40 lol
The new bush....
And a pic of my hole lol
Cleaned up and painted....
A bit of copper grease to help it in...
Pushed home with a bit of wood and trolley jack..
So job done.......naa still can not get the main bolt to locate right...I`ll have another go asap....mabe even drop the whole lot.As you can see the hole for the bolt is off centre......
So if i drag the car out and turn it around n push it back in so the rear end is near the garage door I`ll get better access etc.
