FAO lowered car owners

Any issues relating to suspension, steering and brakes.

Hello,
I've read most of the post's on lowering,

But there seems to be conflicting views on how much to lower and what size wheels, and also the warnings on split fuel lines and dislodged springs,
So in your experiences would a tyre size of 215/35/18 be fine if I only lowered between 30mm to 40mm?
Or would it be better to get 205/35/18
With this are DARE rims better than BK rims?
Anyone had any probs with a SPAX lowering kit?
Or can you recommend a better make for the same price (under £300)
I will wait for your replies before I spend any money as You'z know your stuff better than I,
Thanks.........
Mac

not sure about 18's but I have dare wheels myself...good wheels though the centre caps tend to lose the paint ....but thats why they dont do the plastic ones now IMHO they are better than BK

have my car lowered by 35-40mm (not sure how much exactly said 35 mm on box but seems more) and though when I asked way back when I did mine if this would cause the tyres to wear on the inside ...it was said that was fine and not casue problems... the tyres did wear on the inside , but like I said its only 17's I have so might be diffrent for them
