Jamex spring and shocks kits?

Any issues relating to suspension, steering and brakes.

I am seriously concidering buying this suspension setup for my 1996 16v Cali.

the kit is £220 and lowers 40mm.

Does anybody have any experience with Jamex kits?

please only comment if you personally have seen or used them,
no "my mate knows a guy who had some..." type stories

The reason I'm asking: I've seen a couple of reviews where people say their kit has dropped a lot by itself after only a couple of thousand miles...

I think they seem to be a good make with a rally background, just wondered.

Cheers.

I have used them on a few cars.

They are cheap, Shocks are soft (But harder than standard) and the springs sag alot after a few years (Ie -40 look like -60 in about a year)

Yeah,
They used to be quite wide spread i honestly thought that they had gone under untill some said you can buy them from pro-sport.

Any way had some on my mk2 cav convertable and they did drop -70mm supposed to be -60mm, didn't mind though cos it looked sweet.
