Hand brake, Is it normal to pull down?

Any issues relating to suspension, steering and brakes.

Ive noticed that when i set off on a hill start with the hand brake, it pulls it down slightly. Is this normal?

I know what you mean mate - as in when you set off with the handbrake on it kinda pulls down the handle.

Yeh its normal cos when you set off you are putting tension on your handbrake cable and its the equivilent of you pulling it up? (if that makes sense)

You have the clutch to high and the cars pulling on the handbrake, back the clutch off about the thinknesss of a pound coin and you will be ok.
