hi all, i want to put new discs and pads on the front of my ecotec, just wondered if anyone could point me in theright direction?. Do i go for standard, uprated (eg black diamond), or should i splash out on a v6 upgrade kit. want to fit myself so need a easy fit solution plus which will be best for performance, long lasting etc

Just go for the v6 upgrade fom LMC.

I got the 308mm upgrade for mainly looks, but id say go for the cheeper smaller upgrade.

I've got a set of standard Turbo discs that I've only put about 300 miles of run-in on from brand new, because I then re-did my whole braking system. Wouldn't want more than 30 quid for them. Not sure how the whole 4-stud 5-stud thing will work though?

He'd have to convert the back to five stud too and change his wheels etc.. not a small job. Easier to find four stud discs I'd imagine.

Fair enough, guess I'll sell them to a 5-stud owner at some point then

They could be re-drilled like my 308mm conversion disks, but prob not worth the hassle.
