I know this has been covered a million times but....
I need a definitive answer please.
Will 18x8 rims fit on my cali or not???
My car is lowered by 35-40mm.
Will the 8" cause me problems or do I have to go with 7.5".
Your help will be much appreciated.
Andy.

I would be surprised if you don't get some scuff on the top of the front arches when going over bumps, and perhaps a little bit on the insides when on full lock, but other than that, I don't think it'll be too bad. I've got 8x17's (I think they're a 40 offset) with 215 40 tyres, and that's the only times I get scuffing.

Mine are 8x18 and I think the offset is et47. Have a word with V6_E as I know he has just changed his.

Andy the only prob I've had is the N/S/F rubs now and then, when braking and turning in but not sure why.
Check with splinter and V6_E as we all have the same size/make of wheels.
