digi dash?!?!?

I can't see how a digital dash can look dated compared to an analogue one that has been in use since the early cars.

I had one in my Cavalier it looked sweet.

The 8v dashes had a half moon rev counter, where as the 16v had the torque curve as the rev counter.

You will also need the transducer that came with the clocks as there are about 80 different varieties which go by VIN number.

I think it will look good if you get sorted.

Thats a common mistake, the 16V GTE came with both types (curved and peak) of rev counter.

I've had the curved meter in a 16V, they were not used only in 8V's

yeah the 8v was still a GTE.

GTE 8v = half moon rev counter
GTE 16v = torque curve rev counter

ok so who is gonna tell me how on gods green earth i fit on of these to my calibra? wiring diagram anywhere? a list of parts needed, dash, wiring and the transducer and it has to be a 16v digi dash.

how much do you think it would cost to get a gargae to fit one?

I believe there is a guide on Cavweb (not too sure.. may have been MIG). But it's not a simple job.

I know, I've had an 8V and two 16V's, what I'm saying is the half moon rev counter was found in both the 8 and 16V models, not restricted to just the 8V.

how the heck do i tell which it is out of then? 16v or 8v?

Them Carlton dash's look great, is there room to fit one in a calibra.
