<!--QuoteBegin-tsdinos+--><div class='quotetop'>(tsdinos)</div><div class='quotemain'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Is it possible to fit digi dash with the old speedo cable?
Anyway, i wouldn't really like this in my car, it gives me a feeling of 80s somehow, and cheap.... my opinion<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
whats wrong with that? the cally was designed in the eighties after all?

Hello all!

Maybe I can be of some help for you. It doesn't matter if the LCD it's from a 8V or a 16V Opel, all internals are the same. Parts you need for installing:

1. LCD
2. Both plugs from the back
3. Transducer (also known as "Geber" in german language). This piece transmits signals to the dash, wich calculates traveling speed. The speed cable has to be unscrewed from the gearbox and the transducer screwed (clockwide) in its place.

Here are some files that may help you:

This is my LCD installed on a Daewoo Nexia, wich is pretty similar to Opel Kadett. I only had to make all the necesary re-wiring.
