Anyone know stuff about garret -31 actuator on k16??

Guys im looking at options for another actuator for the car as mine surely is battered and i think the spring and diaphragm am is goosed.
Got directed to a garret -31 actuator that comes on the 4x4 cosworth and was told if i remove mine standard actuator from its bracket by driiling out spot wields then that would directly fit and is a far better unit. Wondered if anyone has tried this or knows about doin it. Seems pointless adding another old worn standard one back so this could be a good upgrade at a decent price . Other choices are out there but are more expensive and some to strong for standardish power ( im told) Not something i know alot about tbh)

From what ive read theres 2 different ones The 2wd one isnt long enough but the 4wd one is spot on.
Seen them one selling for around £20 on ebay without the bracket.
My actuator is deffo naff. Shouldnt be able to pull it across with 2 fingers. It also makes a right nasty sqeek as it moves across ..
Might be interested in the bracket if you find it..
