Few new events to attend up here in Scotland

been through the year book of the Scottish Vechicle Assosiation and found a few shows for us lot

Tayside Classic Car Club at Errol Airfield on Sunday 13th June 2010

the show is as wide a range as possible of cars and bikes pre 65, cars and bikes post 65 to modern, American customs and kit cars, steam engines, auto jumble, kids rides and food stalls also some other trade stalls. We will also be holding a vehicle gymkhana and a tug-o-war competition between car clubs and the local young farmers.

cost is £2 per car

last years show we were able to make a total donation of £3336.84 to the local charity Cash for Kids and four other local charities and we hope to be able to make at least a similar donation this year.


they say closing date is the 1st May so our closing date is the 19th April

Stirling and District Classic Car Club
The 2010 Stirling and District Classic Car Club Annual Show for Charities will take place on Sunday 16th May 2010 in the Strathallan Games Park, Bridge of Allan, Stirling.

Camping is available for the Saturday night with access from 2:00 pm on Saturday. Cost per tent/caravan is £5 payable when booking.



 Entry to the Show is free to exhibitors
 The Show field will be open from 9:00 am on Sunday
 Entrants are requested to be in position by 10:30 am at the latest
 Entrants must display entry pass at the gate
 Entry pass includes driver and one adult passenger
 The camping area and the Show field must be cleared by 7:00 pm on Sunday
 There should be no unnecessary driving in the Show field

AYRSHIRE CLASSICS CAR CLUB
Dean Castle Country Park, Kilmarnock Sunday 9th May ..their closing date is the 9th April so our closing date will be Monday the 29th March ..I presume the cost will be about the same as last year (£2 per Car)

Scottish Modified Car Show SUNDAY 18th JULY 2010 Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston...this will depend on the amount wishing to attend..5 CONFIRMED cars minimum I am sorry to say, other details will be posted when they are confirmed ..would guess the closing date will be roughly the 6th June

Scottish Borders Historic Motoring Extravaganza 2010 at Lauder


Thirlestane Castle is at Lauder by the A68 road, just 28miles from
Edinburgh and 68 miles from Newcastle. On the 6th June Thirlestane
Castle will be open to all show attendees at special reduced admission
charges.
CAMPING
Camping is available at the official Thirlestane Castle fully
serviced Caravan Park. All requests for sites should be made
direct to the the Park (and not to the BVAC) on Tel: 01578 718884 or Mob

Special Price for Entrants/Exhibitors
Price per caravan/motor home 2 persons per night
with electricity hook up £11.00
Price per caravan/motor home 2 persons per night £10.00
(Extra persons charged £3.50 per night)
Price per Tent which includes 2 people £10.00

There are approximately 54 electricity hook ups and these will be
allocated on a first booked first served basis.
Camping will also be available this year on a designated area of the
showfield with facilities limited to a Stand pipe and the Portaloos at £3
per pitch per night for Friday , Saturday & Sunday (4th,5th,6th )nights
only, with fees payable on entry to the showfield. This must be booked
INDIVIDUALLY on the form enclosed. Its £3 per pitch per night for this

apart from the Camping the rest is FREE

East Kilbride Car Show

2nd May at the museum of rural life
free to enter and you get a £5 voucher to spend on your lunch

East Kilbride Car Show

the 2nd May .................CLOSING DATE Monday 22end March


Dean Castle Sunday 9th May cost is £2 per car
Closing Date ..............Monday the 29th March


Stirling and District Classic Car Club Sunday 16th May
Cost is frre apart from camping fee ...closing date is 17th April
