In the middle of fitting rear springs.. quick question..

Any issues relating to suspension, steering and brakes.

I am in the middle of fitting new rear springs.. can someone please confirm which way round the springs are meant to sit? They are eibach's.

Is the left or right spring correct? fat end at the top or bottom when fitted?

Thanks!

I thought eibachs were different? writing upright which makes them fat end top doesnt it? i cant quite see the writing in the pic

TBH i doubt it would make much difference at all anyway

I seem to recall last time we had this discussion mine were on the "wrong" way round, and i had them swapped, made no difference what so ever apart from perhaps less noisy on landing after takeoff

I would've thought less coils at the bottom more at the top. So the susp is still supple under light loads then as it compresses and load up it becomes stiffer. The lower arm would push up on fewer coils at first.

Have a read on the suspension section....

Also has a handy tyre size calculator in the tyre section as well!
