Rich, I've just skim read the other thread abut this problem, can you confirm if you have changed the ECU Coolant Temp Sensor or not?

not sure were is the coolent temp sensor iv changed loads of bits

Its the blue sensor in the coolant bridge circled.
You should be able to get to it without removing the inlet, tbh it's the first thing i would of changed as it's cheap to buy and can cause havoc without spitting up a code.

just been out and had a look theres 2 blue conectors is it the 1 what sticks up or is it the 1 layed on its side

Its the bigger of the two, (Horizontal) the single connection one is for the temp gauge, the bigger one is the temp sensor, I think it's a two wire jobbie.
