Drivers side door card

by craigyboy » Sat Jul 26, 2014 5:36 pm

After managing to get hold of a decent unbubbled card last year
it has decided this week to bubble out with the heat,Does anyone have
a spare replacement or know how to resolve this?

I was gonna try drilling a few holes in the back of the door card and inject glue in, then try a vacuum bag on one of the spare cards I have. It may work but I think getting it recovered will be the best option mate.

you would need to make a plug so it push's had agents the bubbled area when its in the vacuum bag till the glue dries think it would need to a industrial type vacuum as well not just the ones you buy to store pillows and clothes

Good idea about the plug Steve. I new it would need to be an industrial bag. It would be fun watching a JML bag go pop

I was going to try what Phil said about drilling the holes and putting glue
in.I also want to try and heat it with a hair drier so its a bit more pliable.
