So here is the pic of the repaint to the passenger footwell. Nicely sorted and got it through MOT.

Had a week off looking at sunroof fix, needs to come out.

Next is finish welding up the factory holes in the floor and then it's underbody seal and then I can move to nice bits inside. Image

So had some time today, was planning on getting on with prepping the new interior. Started with ousting the sponge soundproof and passenger side out and ready after pulling the centre console. Driver's side found my last(fingers crossed) hole. It's not too bad to be fair and will get on it asap, waiting for gas.

Spent the next hour pulling the Lower edge of the engine bay soaking wet foam and checking the ridge it sits on, found to be sound.

3 steps fwd 1.5 back but still moving forward. Image

Your getting there bud. I'm gonna have to have a look at all they bits as well. I know I need to repair the rear wheel arch on the driver's side behind the small plastic sill end cover. When you remove the rear side cards you will be able to see if your car needs done.

Each day it gets better, my interior is out and I will check these areas prior to refitting it. Thanks.

So a bit of progress today, restored the ledge and restored the lower hole.

2 more pieces to put in then I can paint and try and get at the engine bay side to protect, but might have to wait till I get it on the ramp Image

Well it's all in and seam sealed. It's not pretty at all but I'm covering it up and its now ready for paint and I couldn't be happier.

Now I can move onto checking my heater matrix for leaks then it's interior and touch up paint time Image

Nice work. Pretty or not (and i can’t and won’t judge since I’ve never really welded) it’s coming together!
