Had a bit of time and have got one of my adapters made for the passenger seat and got measured for the rest. Looks like the outer ones will be able to be bolted to the new seats and the inner ones will be welded on. Dont have large amount of time so will take some time. Image

This happened today very happy it fits and works. But it needs the seatbelt rail changing so I can lower fully. Image

Just for the record as I'm sure most of you saw on Facebook that both are in. One bolt to fit using an anchor nut and some strengthening of the adapter plates, then spray black and refit.

Now where’s the fun in that - shiny things first then find the motivation mechanical and safety things

So finally started on the suspension, though when you have to cut the old strut to be able to file a flat to get an adjustable on there to turn it then you know you not getting too much done.

As you can see it's VERY rusty, I had a leak into the top of the driver side strut top which was coming from the rubber blank further up the c pillar which I have sealed and you can see the damage it's done to the shock.

Few hours to get it changed and ordered some replacement lower rubber shock spacers, will wait for them and do the other side. Good news is I got the broken spring switched out for the 40mm lowered one can't wait to fight to get the others inImage

Door check strap washers done, mudflap secured, now a break.

Should my new spring compress as much as it looks
