I think you stand a pretty good chance here though.. afterall it has to be a LONG way out to cause such damage in such a short ammount of time, its not like they're "real" drive wheels even.

That is ruling out bad tyres of course.. what make/model and size/pressure are you running them?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

its not really a huge company, its got a good rep of customer service and ive never had a problem from there in the past

agree with you though, it shouldnt of worn down the tyres that quick, i didnt even this is was possible, and i havent been driving the car hard.

Its hard to see the inside edge.. do you have pics or measurements etc to be 100% certain they wernt already fairly warn inside? been caught out myself that wya is all.. when theres a bit of tread left they dont look so bad but soon as thats gone it suddenly looks 10x worse..

thing is, if it is wrong?? should they be ebliged to re-set it up again for free?? if its there fault?? should they pay for a set of new tyres?? and with it being 4wd, would i be entiltied to 4 new ones being the nature of this? or just 2?? (which means me forking out for another 2 new ones)

well i'd certainly insist they set it up for free.. i think 4 tyres would be pushing it unless you can prove how worn they were before etc.. its not as tho u had new tyres on there, you'd be lucky to get part compensation a new set, but its worth going for that..

if the camber is ok then it was just your memory as to how "good" they were before.. the last bit of tread wears down rather rapidly, as far as i know even std road car tyres the casing material is different to the tread material, its hard to see how much tread is there at the back, it can look ok with very little left, that wears off quickly and you're left without any tread making it look 100x worse when its only marginally worse than it was a few miles back.

<!--QuoteBegin-Cheater2k+--><div class='quotetop'>(Cheater2k)</div><div class='quotemain'><!--QuoteEBegin-->the ones i already had, but there were ok, not worn or anything<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

could be your problem then as once camber/alignment damage is done on the tyre even after getting the camber corrected the tyre will still will wear on that damaged section ..can even wear quicker once corrected

they were maybe 0.5mm tread difference on the inside edge to the out side edge, i cant see than wearing right down 7mm odd in 500 miles?

if it really has worn that much, then it sounds more like scrub from bad toe than camber.. camber just means it runs heavier on that bit of tread, toe means its physically pulling it across the road surface all the time.

everything looks within specs

except the toe on the rear right (which is worn abit mroe than the one on the left)

BUT, they say i have negative camber?? (it went there to get this fixed with the anti camber bushes, lol)

can you get a camber kit for the front?? as thats what they said ill need (as all 4 are fecking worn)

so i need 4 new tyres as well

BUT, tweeks have said, when i do the track rod ends, suspension etc, they will reset all 4 corners up for free

the car is supposed to have some camber, thats correct.
I think you can get something or other for the front, however lowering it shouldnt put the camber out as it does the rears as the setup is different. its not just toe thats wrong at the front?

put up a scan of the latest printout mate, think thats the best thing at this time..
