What tyres do you recommend

I've got to change all 4 tyres on my Cally soon. Calling on peoples experience. I'll be looking for 205/55/15 on standard alloys and want something with decent grip in the wet/dry with a good wear rate.

Michelins grip well but suffer from road noise. I got mine shod with Continentals. Seem to grip and their quiet (and cheap from me works !)

I had some khumo's a while back that were very good in the wet, good in the dry and was very impressed with them........until it came to MOT time. Due to the camber on mine cos it's lowered and the way they made the tyre, it ate it's self from the inside out!!!!

The metal braiding that went from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other shoulder had scraped away from the inside due to flex. I could peel away half of the side wall and see the offending braiding poking out through the tread ply's!!!

Was very scary to find that considering they were fitted to the front and the twisty road i'd driven quite fast the day before!!

Have Toyo Proxes' fitted to the front now. No real difference between them, the khumo's, some falkens i had on the wheels when i bought them (they wore down very quickly!!) and some cheap Cooper things......

I've got Toyo T1-R's on the fronts of my ickle baby 8V, I think they're a great tyre for grip, but as above wear is REALLY fast I feel, even with my lowly power..
